Oh the days of turkey have passed

Let me start of by saying that I ate way way too much. Went to J's grandma's for the family thing. I made my usual walnut strusel pumpkin pie...not so pretty in the foil pie pan, but definitely yum.
Also decided to be brave and attempt my first cheesecake, since we got a new oven and all. What other flavor could we have for turkey day other than pumpkin?? Everyone seemed to like it, who doesn't like cheesecake after all. As far as recipes I need to try from Thanksgiving, definitely the broccoli slaw is a must. It was probably the only veggie dish they had that was not slathered in cream. Needless to say for Christmas, I will be bringing fruit and veggies of some sort.

As a side note, I made some whole wheat blueberry/blackberry muffins last night. These are healthier
muffins than usual, I mean come on what muffins are actually healthy? Run down of substitutions:
whole wheat flour vs all purpose, honey vs sugar, egg whites only vs whole eggs, no sugar added frozen berries vs dried sugar added berries.
